Department of Education funding leaves gaps in our school's budget. The PTA works to fill those gaps and enrich the education of each child at IS 289.

The Direct Appeal benefits ALL children at IS 289. The money we raise is used to pay for music, art, technology and language programs, as well as professional development programs for teachers and staff, classroom supplies, library books, and so much more.
No amount is too small (or too big!). Please give any amount that is comfortable and meaningful for your family. We are striving for 100% participation and we accept donations by cash, check or credit card as a one-time or monthly payment.
